Impact Integration and B Certification

B Corp Journey and ESG Flow

NTT DATA Business Solutions is an SAP Platinum Partner, offering and implementing the full range of SAP software and technologies. They have a highly flexible and scalable cloud infrastructure for optimized IT operations and business support – using data centers around the world with partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS Azure) and Google (GCP).

How we helped

NTT DATA’s partnership with We.Flow arose from the desire to expand its impact and become a Certified B Corporation. In addition, since 2018 we have been deepening our performance through a Strategy and organizational culture aligned with ESG.

At the beginning of our partnership, in 2018, the focus was to prepare the company to go through the B Certification audit process and to develop internally a culture and leadership that would be able to consolidate and expand the impact generated. Over the years we have evolved with several good practices within the company, such as, for example, the ESG Strategy, Internal ESG Committee; Stakeholder Management for Materiality; Corporate Volunteering Program, Internal ESG Training, Leadership Engagement; Definition of Social and Environmental Indicators, Review and Formalization of Internal Policies and others.

Main results:

In 2021, NTT DATA submitted its impact assessment and in June 2022 it was certified as Company B. Throughout the verification process, We.Flow was with NTT mediating and supporting the technical process.

Now in 2023, We.Flow continues to support and monitor NTT DATA’s social and environmental performance. Every year the ESG Strategy is reviewed and aligned with strategic planning, always aiming to improve and intensify the impact generated by the company, as well as to identify new challenges and opportunities.

As main results in this journey together, we highlight:

  • B Corporation certification in 2022;
  • ESG strategy linked to local and global planning;
  • Formalization of internal policies, such as: Volunteering Policy, Tax Destination, Social Investment Policy, Social and Environmental Commitment, Supplier Policy and 3R’s Policy.
  • Definition of socio-environmental indicators;
  • Development of conscious leadership;
  • Continuous improvement plan;
  • Brand positioning and engagement linked to ESG;
  • D&I maturity mapping.
