Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us and that is why We.Flow has created this Privacy Policy to help you understand how each user’s personal data is collected, stored and processed, and how you can manage, export and delete this information from our platform.

All your personal information is collected and processed in compliance with the requirements of the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Law No. 12,965/2014) and the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 13,709/2018) and this document applies to all activities carried out by We.Flow, as well as to subscribers to our activities and users of our websites, web applications, resources and other tools, regardless of date and location.

1. What personal data we collect from you

When you access the We.Flow website, data will be collected which may be provided directly by you or through interactions on our platform, such as the origin, time and geographical location of the access. Data such as the user’s IP address, browser type, device used and pages visited may also be collected. Information may also be collected on how our tools are used (content viewed, resources used, actions and interactions carried out), as well as the time, frequency and duration of access and activity.

This data will depend on your interactions with our platform and the options you choose or the privacy settings of other resources you use. It may also be collected through cookies, automatically inserted by the Google Analytics tool or similar, which help We.Flow to identify the content made available that most interests our users. We recommend that you read our Cookies Policy. If you wish, you can disable the recording and reading of cookies in your browser.

When you fill in a We.Flow form, all the information collected is stored in our database, including personally identifiable information (name, e-mail address, profession, company you work for, etc.).

There are three main ways in which data is obtained through forms: (i) interest in programs on the site, (ii) interest in the newsletter and (iii) registration for programs.

By providing your e-mail address through forms for interest in programs on the site or forms for interest in the newsletter, you agree to We.Flow sending you e-mails, including so-called “e-mail marketing”. In all other cases, you must expressly consent to receiving emails from us.

You can revoke your consent by filling in the newsletter form at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any e-mail we send.

We also collect the data you send us when you contact us via e-mail, telephone, text message or any other means, directly or indirectly, written or verbal.

Please note that if we ask you to provide any personal data, you can refuse. However, some of our services require the receipt of personal data, so failure to provide it may mean that you will not be able to use and/or contract a particular service. In cases where the data is not essential (optional) and you choose not to share it, the provision of the service will not be affected.

We would also like to point out that it is your sole responsibility to guarantee the veracity of all the data provided, so you are therefore responsible for its accuracy, authenticity and any updating.

2. What is the purpose of using your data?

We.Flow uses your data to improve the performance of its programs and services. However, by strictly following the guiding principles of the General Data Protection Law and other legal provisions, we collect what is strictly necessary for our organization:

1. Make any registrations;

2. Carry out segmentation to target content, social media campaigns and e-mail marketing;

3. Carrying out statistical analysis of profile, interest and evaluation for targeting content, social media campaigns and e-mail marketing;

4. Carrying out statistical analysis of profile and proposed activation for selecting participants, speakers and/or partners for the programs and services offered;

5. Carry out statistical analysis of profile and behavior to optimize the user experience in current and future editions of the programs and services offered;

6. Remember and retain user preferences and settings;

7. Determine the popularity of content;

8. Analyze online trends and traffic;

9. Analyze the main interests of users who interact with our services;

10. Disseminate and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;

11. Develop, test and improve our tools, products or services, including conducting surveys and polls;

12. To inform you about our Policies and Terms, as well as to offer assistance when you contact us.

3. How we process and store your data

Your personal data will be stored on third-party servers contracted by We.Flow to support internal operations. We require these third parties to employ the appropriate level of security and data protection in accordance with the relevant legal provisions, and cannot be held responsible for any non-compliance for which it was not responsible.

The way in which We.Flow analyzes your data is anonymous and in group format. Therefore, in our analysis, we will not be able to identify specifically who the users involved in the analysis groups are, as the identifiable data collected, such as name and e-mail, is discarded before we carry out any analysis.

4. Who has access to your data

We restrict access to your personal data to those who need it for the purposes mentioned in section 2 of this document.

When we share data with our partners, all information is grouped and anonymized, making it impossible for the parties involved in this exchange to be able to specifically identify the users whose data is being shared.

In exceptional situations, We.Flow may share identifiable data with third parties considered “key partners”, with whom it maintains a relationship of mutual assistance and structured contracts. However, this sharing is completely free of charge – as We.Flow does not sell any of its users’ information and imposes restrictions on how partners can use the data received.

We.Flow may also share your data with the Government, by force of law or for the purpose of complying with a court order, without the need for your consent.

Your information may be shared for other reasons not described in this policy, which will only take place with prior notification and your consent.

5. Retention, access and deletion of your data

By default, We.Flow retains identifiable data for 5 years and non-identifiable data for 10 years. In practice, this means that after 5 years any information that could identify you is deleted from our database.

You can also, at any time, control your personal data collected by us and request its deletion:

1. information about what data We.Flow holds about you;

2. Information on how it is being used;

3. Requesting a copy of all this data;

4. Correcting or updating any information that is incorrect; and

5. The complete deletion of your personal data from our database.

When you request the deletion of your data, the information you have provided will be deleted from our servers. However, in exceptional situations, we may retain certain information if necessary for legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention, improving user security, contractual or legal provision or judicial determination.

All requests regarding your personal data should be made by sending an e-mail to weflow@weflow.global with the subject “Data Access/Exclusion – Request”.

6. Privacy Policy Update

From time to time, We.Flow may update its Privacy Policy, so if there are significant changes we will notify you on our website or by email. You can always choose whether or not to accept the new terms of the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, simply click on the “Unsubscribe” button in any email you receive from We.Flow and send a message to weflow@weflow.global with the subject “Deletion of data – Non-agreement”.
